A Strategic Design Proposal
This project was a design proposal I developed for Autodesk. It focused on enhancing AutoCAD Mobile, the companion app that brings CAD file viewing and markup to professionals in the field.
The Manual Entry Bottleneck
Workers on-site often mark up physical drawings by hand. Currently, someone has to manually re-enter those notes into a digital CAD file back at the office. This process is slow and prone to errors.
Bridging the Gap with ML
My proposal was to use the smartphone camera as a capture tool. By using Machine Learning to recognize hand-drawn markups, the app could automatically update the CAD file, removing the need for manual data entry.
This concept serves as an example of my approach to strategic problem-solving.
